Amanda Betz, DPT

Amanda-Betz-DPT.jpgAmanda received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California, and her Bachelors of Science in Health Administration from California State University Northridge. Amanda is passionate about Physical Therapy and loves working with a range of populations from pediatrics to geriatrics, and from weekend warriors to elite athletes, her primary focus is sports and orthopedics.

Her passion stems from her early experiences as a patient with recurrent knee issues from cross country, track, and softball. She has a strong desire to help patients recover, and to motivate and educate them to ensure they meet their physical goals. Amanda loves returning patients to the sports that they love and the activities they want to do, whether it’s completing a triathlon or being able to climb a flight of stairs. Her treatment approach combines multiple techniques to improve mobility, promote stability and facilitate neuromuscular re-education through manual therapy and progressive therapeutic exercises.

When Amanda isn't helping patients achieve their highest function, she enjoys running, hiking, swimming, and anything outdoors. She has a passion for people, and enjoys gardening, photography, reading, cooking, playing with her dog, and traveling.
