The average person will take over 100 million breaths in their lifetime.
Upper Chest Breathing is highly inefficient, but is the predominant pattern of breathing for most humans. Faulty, shallow breathing can be attributed to a decreased energy level, higher pain states and chronic muscular tension. Our natural way of breathing is with our abdominal muscles by expanding the abdomen on inhalation, and compressing the abdomen on exhalation.
The Breathwork and Stress Release Class consists of information regarding the health benefits of breathwork, anatomy and mechanics review of the body related to breathing, and exercises to expand the ribcage, mobilize the spine and release stress. Individualized instruction is provided to perform diaphragmatic breathing with profound benefits and results. You will also be taught techniques and breathing sequences to help develop your individual practice at home. Limited to 10 participants. To reserve a spot for you, please contact: |
