Ellora received her Masters in Science in Physical Therapy from UCSF/SFSU and is currently pursuing her Doctoral degree from Northeastern University. Professionally, she integrates a hands-on treatment approach with patient education and hand-selected exercises to maximize overall health and function in her patients. Although the majority of her experience is in outpatient PT and sports medicine, Ellora has also worked in a spinal cord injury clinic. From this experience, she gained a very unique perspective on the importance of neuromuscular rehabilitation and role of physical activity in the healing process for all patients. These are two cornerstones of her treatment philosophy. Prior to her interest in PT, Ellora was a professional violinist and she recognizes the subtleties of working with this population in therapy.
Ellora is passionate about the outdoors and loves most activities that allow her to get outside. Her current sports interests include triathlon, ultimate Frisbee and skiing, however she has previously competed in both tennis and swimming as well. In addition to an active lifestyle, Ellora enjoys playing music, cooking and traveling. |
