Jamie Faison is a Certified Athletic Trainer and he earned his B.S. in Exercise Science from UC Davis in 2003. While earning his degree at UC Davis, he also participated as a student Athletic Trainer for three years in the UC Davis Athletic Training program, receiving his Athletic Training Certification in 2004.

Jamie enjoys athletic rehabilitation and helping individuals get back to full athletic performance. He is inspired by helping others return to a healthy, pain-free, active life.  He really enjoys working with College and High School level athletes who are ready to take the next step in their training.  Jamie also has had great results working with Fire Fighters, Police Officers, Tri Athletes, Marathoners, and

Jamie works at SOL PT part time and is also the Head Athletic Trainer at Berkeley High School.  His primary roles at the high school are injury prevention, game injury management and injury rehabilitation. He also teaches Berkeley High’s Sports Medicine Class, and has created a Student Athletic Training program for the students to learn more about becoming an Athletic Trainer. 

Jamie has just introduced a Whole Body Training Program at SOL PT called “HARD CORE Training”.  This program focuses on Core Stability exercises, Functional Movement Patterns, Flexibility training, Cardio Exercise progression and a Rock Solid Home/Gym Exercise program for any active person.  This program demystifies the gym and shows you what exercises you should do and what exercises you should avoid.

Outside of work Jamie is a huge sports fan.  He loves watching sports and supporting all of the Bay Area teams (GO NINERS!).  When he gets away, he likes to go hiking, biking and back packing with his lovely wife Josie.
